Food Redistribution is a possible DKWS application for practical redistribution of food where context, safety, Source Space, Carrying Capacity and responsibility remain clear.

It is not a general food claim system.

It is not a guarantee of access to food.

It is not a way to pressure suppliers, businesses, kitchens, farms, stores or Source Holders to make food available.

Food Redistribution can only work where the source is clear, the food is safe to share, the available Source Space is defined, and the responsibility around storage, transport, timing and use is understood.

A DKWS approach may help make visible:

• what food may be available

• who carries the source

• what conditions apply

• what timing matters

• what transport or storage is needed

• what Carrying Capacity is required

• what Return Flow may be needed

• where a pause or review may be necessary

The purpose is not to move food faster than the field can carry.

The purpose is to prevent waste where possible, while protecting people, sources, safety and responsibility.

Food Redistribution can only grow where the practical structure is clear enough to carry the movement.
